When pioneers would leave the Seaboard for Texas, they would leave a shingle on their door that read

G.T.T.
(Gone to Texas)

Somewhat sadly, I'm Gone From Texas in a few days, and with the move to Chicago, I'm moving blogging services as well. The e-mail and cell phone and Facebook are all going to stay the same, so no excuses for not keeping touch somehow.

danieleggert.com will now direct you to http://danielandthelions.wordpress.com. Please stop by.
I promise I'll write more often. I even plan to share photography posts more often.

Sola Deo Gloria,
Daniel

Oh, one of these years I'm going to take you up on that. I've never really seen snow. (Well at least over 2 inches.)

RYC: ha, well I definitely grew up in the suburbs of Houston as well.  What you say is true, flooding is a monthly occurence.  It's almost as if it's a season that we anticipate.  I just found it amusing that it contrasted so greatly with the random ice storm.  Ha, I think there were even a couple of murder stories as well.  Even I have beome so numb to those that I don't notice them sometimes.  Sad isn't it?

Well I hope that you're having fun up there in the ice and snow of Chicago!  I know you must miss our great state.  However, I'm sure you are representing us well.  :)

hahaha! Yes. We have intestines of steel. I probably should have finished off my peanut butter too, instead of trashing it;)

I put their names on the post. Better?

You're awesome...I had figured that I wouldn't be able to determine the scientific name if I couldn't find a picture! That is definitely the right plant.

You seriously need to post on your blog, btw.
